  • I had the pleasure of (finally) eating at Welcome Diner today and it was amazing! I can't wait to go back. I had the fried chicken biscuit sandwich and a side of fried avocado, both of which were great. Fried chicken was juicy and biscuit was flaky and tasted fresh. The fried avocado was awesome and like nothing I have had before. My friend got a collard green sandwich with a fried egg on top. She smashed it and then raved about how great it was. Each sandwich came with a side of fruit which was the perfect side for the heavy sandwiches. Like I said before I can't wait to go back!! Highly recommend, this is a local gem that I would love to see thrive.
