| - I was back in town visiting college friends, and one of them told me about this place that one of our old co-workers had opened. I was a bit skeptical about the quality I would, since they seem like a concept I haven't really heard of before, but when I got there I was really impressed.
First, the haircut was great. The lady who cut my hair said a lot of the guys that had been in that week were clipper cuts, so she was "excited to get to give a scissors cut". I was really pleased with the outcome -- the haircut wasn't fast and rushed like at a chain place like GreatClips, and the quality showed. I'm always nervous about when they cut my sideburns (people always mess up one compared to the other), but no problems at all there. She was super friendly and conversational, kept making sure we were on the same page about the cut, and just rocked it out. The haircut was really a higher quality than the price, which is awesome.
Secondly, the place had a really awesome vibe! It's like an old converted garage or something, and it's kind of a modern feel -- basically, it's just a cool place, which isn't what I always expect walking into a hair place.
Definitely worth stopping by -- and the price really can't be beat for it being a good haircut. I might not get the membership if I'm growing my hair out, but if I kept my hair short and wanted to keep it trim, the membership would be a steal.
Totally recommend this place.
