One word you never want to hear from you hair place is "surprise"... my first visit was wonderful. I requested blond/light brown Highlights that would work with my hair and left with a nice cut and a hair color I loved. I requested the same stylist for my next visit and asked for the same color I had the last time. After going to review what she i did in the past she came back and told me she left herself detailed notes and off we went. As she was drying my hair all I could see was red (NOT brown or blond). As it dried the more I tried to stay positive and she then said "surprise, I added some copper toner" and that my hair would get lighter/copper would fade in a few days. I spent $300+ on a color I did not ask for. I am still confused why she used a toner that was different from the toner she first used on me (confirmed this with salon). I called and asked for the first time in my life a fix apt. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the woman who did my fix was kind, attempted her best to get the copper out. My hair still has tints of copper and red and I am disappointed with the lack of highlights I can see. Salons should only surprise their clients if they ask for a surprise.
