I've had a total of three soft baseball caps sewned at this place in the past three months. The sewing job entailed sewing a velcro patch on two of the hats and a Marine Corps , Eagle, Globe and Anchor patch on the 3rd baseball cap. These ball caps are "soft, non-structured caps that fit close to your head.
The velcro patches cost $15 each to sew on to each ball cap (the cap cost $10). Totally overpriced.
The Eagle,Globe, and Anchor Marine Corps Patch was sewn on crooked and canted to the side. When I pointed this out to the manager, she told me that was the best they could do. I told her that the work was unacceptable. She told me if I was not satisfied, I did not have to pay the $15 for the sewing job.
Based on these last experiences, I will find another shop to do my alterations and sewing work. In my opinion, the quality of the work has degraded under the new ownership of Leslie's. I have been a customer for the past five years but that was under the original owners.
