  • Vegas is no doubt the place for buffets and they ain't playing! When you search online for the top buffets in Vegas, Bacchanal Buffet is always on the top 5 in any given year. It cost $17 million to build, opened its doors in Sept. 2012 and has many chefs from different cultures! This is my 3rd visit at Bacchanal going into Memorial Day weekend. Since I'm a local, no shocker here where prices for buffets around town do increase on major holiday events and Bacchanal is no exception! They have special menu added for the holiday such as king crab legs, suckling pig and squid ink pasta! The lamb chops I thought it was just "okay". Texas De Brazil and Shish Kabob House lamb chops rock! The dessert station was not all that bad. I think it was above average without the "wow factor". I'm just happy with the live crepe station where you are responsible to create/pour your own toppings! Love love fresh crepes! The large strawberries were fresh and dipped in green tea and white chocolate. The sweet potato fries was one of the best I've had! It was piping hot so I made sure I took some. The Mexican station where all the fresh juice you can consume such as horchata, guava and strawberry drinks! Oh my! They were all refreshing! It's a VERY overwhelming place to eat. So, make sure you have a strategy prior to your arrival to break even what you paid for. I'm overwhelmed writing this review because there's too many positive things that I failed to mention. I over stuffed myself with the crab legs and left no room for the meat galore! LOL! Bottom line, it is not fair for me to say that Bacchanal is the best buffet in Vegas. There are awesome buffets around town that offers different specialty menu AND do have some "wow factor"! There is no way you can find the best of everything under one buffet roof because it's impossible to offer ALL. However, I can see why this place always makes the cut for the top buffets in Vegas. The wide range of international cuisine to the most finicky eater. It sure has something for everyone!
