| - I thought I was a lifer for apple. In the last 10 years I've owned 3 Macbook Pros, an iPad Mini, iPad 1st generation and 4th generation, 3 apple tv's, an airport extreme, 4 airports, and the iPhone 3,4,5&6. I had an iPod somewhere in there too. I also converted my parents, brother, his kids, and so many more to Apple. As a teacher in my school, I'm the only classroom that uses makes because I was so persistent about mac. I currently have 12 in my classroom. I truly believe that Apple does not care about it's customers anymore. About 6 months ago, I brought my Macbook in which was still covered by applecare because it was getting less than an hour battery life. They ran their test and said it was good. I asked if this was normal to get less than an hour and he said that battery passed the test. So I finally had to just order a replacement battery on Amazon and now it gets close to 5 hours. Fast forward to today. I just brought my iPhone 6 into the apple store, which is still covered by Apple Care and the Battery only lasts a few hours. Amazingly it still passed the Apple Battery test so they would not change it. The representative even saw on his test that on one of the days the iPhone went from 25% to 0 in a matter of seconds. I asked him to explain this and he said "some apps use a lot of power." It's like they are trained to defer the problems.
One last note, I had a Macbook Pro about a year ago that I brought in because the display was being funky. It was covered under some Apple Recall. However, when I receive the computer back, they forgot to plug the logic board back into the Super Drive and the computer only had 4 screws in it.
It's a shame, I love Apple, but so much disappointment lately.
