| - I'm having an internal debate over my review. Did I like it 3 stars or 4 stars? I can't make up my mind. I have been here twice. I agree with other posters that it's refreshing to have new places (non-chains) in Chandler. So I give it props for that. The staff is super friendly, awesome really. I went in there with the kids, and they were great with kids too. The place is open, clean, big tables and a nice "bar" table. Trendy, good. Our food the first day was pretty good, I think my chicken sandwich was the only not-so-exciting dish, but my husband liked his, and so did my kids and friend. And the portions were pretty big. The green pork chili is gigantic.
And then 2 days later I went there for breakfast by myself. Ah, an escapade from work and family. Again, I love the actual place, it was so bright in there. But that day the service was not quite as awesome...the waitress kept helping the table behind me (friends I think) and ignoring me, so eventually I had to stuff my face to be able to eat and make it to work on time. I got the spaniard omelette. Ok, I'm biased here...since I'm spaniard. So this may come accross as a snooty review...but cilantro!!! That's one herb that's not used in spanish food at all. You got it wrong, chef. It should be parsley, sorry. Actually, the parsley would have given flavor to the omelette, which was just blah. Eggs and cheese. Yes, the cheese was manchego and therefore flavorful. Also, the saugage in the omelette is portuguese...not spaniard! Sorry, picky, I know. But there's wonderful spanish chorizo available out there, that adds incredible paprika flavor to eggs (I make this a lot), so please find some! Oh, yeah, and my coffee didn't get refilled when the mug went empty...what gives???
