  • How does this restaurant have so few raving reviews on Yelp? Either the folks in Charlotte don't know a great restaurant when they see it, or it's just a little too southern for the New Yorkers in Charlotte. The food was exceptional, the service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the hosts were incredibly nice. I enjoyed sitting at the stools by the open kitchen, and everything that emerged from the kitchen looked so inviting. I had the roasted duck wings with delicious chili aioli, and the quarter barbq chicken. The chicken was tender and moist, and I enjoyed the sauce. I felt that the chicken could have been even better had it been smoked. The fried corn was excellent as an accompaniment. There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu, and I think I shall go back for the succulent looking grilled burger. I loved it!
