  • This was my first time using Uber services. At first I was a bit sketchy with all the media hype and stories about using Uber but thought hey lets give it a go and see what my experience would be. I used it to go to a coworker's gathering of fun and festivities at the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas (first timer). When using Uber I first download the Uber app onto my Smartphone, create an account, and took it from there. I believe if you don't have a smartphone you can utilize Uber services from their website too. Anyhow Uber will ask you how many people your party will be utilizing Uber, it's cool because you can request a small car for yourself alone or a bigger SUV for more (friends/family) people if you are not alone. I plotted my location, Uber pinged the nearest Uber vehicle in my area and let me know how far the vehicle was to get to my plotted location. Once this is completed the Uber driver comes to pick you up and the app is cool because you can see where the car is and how close it is to your pick-up location. Once the Uber driver got there promptly the Uber driver was very cool, welcoming and had a very nice vehicle. The Uber driver plotted out my destination on their GPS and away we went. My Uber driver was cool and let me pick the radio station I wanted to listen to, made sure I was comfortable, and drive good as we had a pleasant conversation. Come to find out the Uber driver was an ex-Yelper and still loves Yelp. After I arrived at my destination the Uber app on my phone confirms the prices and then you can Rate your driver to tell Uber how well your experience was or if you didn't have a great experience you can let them know what the issues were and they address them accordingly. All-in-All my first Uber experience was a great one and I'm sure I will be using Uber again the future.
