| - Recently I had a problem with my Apple Watch, the face was separating from the body. So as i would do with an Apple product, I took it to the Apple Store at Arrowhead. After the watch was examined, it was deemed unfixable and there was nothing Apple could or would do. End of story, NO. I said I was going to bring to a third party to look at and see if it could be saved. The guy at Apple mentioned Mac Media on 83 in Peoria, thank goodness, so I took myself and my Apple Watch down to Mac Media, where I met Tristan Soto, who looking at the watch, said " you have a battery recall." After checking the serial # he confirmed the recall and told me I would get a replacement in a few day, which I did. The tech at the Apple Store checked the serial # but did not come up with the same information to help me.
The question must be asked, why wasn't the Apple Store as helpful as Mac Media? I can't answer that, but in the future, all my Apple need will be filled at Mac Media.
I will put this on Yelp today and anywhere else you would like. I do appreciate you're knowledge and customer friendly attitude.
