The sushi here is quite good and everyone stops in for the iced tea, but this place quickly goes downhill from there. The service is just too unpredictable. Most of the deli counter/chef guys are moody and rude. And there are a couple mean women over in the bakery/iced tea area, too. I will pay a premium for quality, but service has to come with it, and I have had rude, moody service way too many times.
Today John decided to be a dick about tacos. Didn't listen, started preparing two full orders after I clearly said " I would like one full taco plate with two beef tacos, and then I'd like two a la carte beef tacos each on a separate plate with a little bit of beans and rice. Can you do that?" He acts annoyed and says "we can do whatever you want!" Then John starts preparing two full taco plates so I tell him I only wanted one. Huge eye roll and annoyed look. Then he scoops two huge a la carte side dishes with beans and rice. I tell him I just wanted two plates with one taco each and a little bit of beans and rice. "Well, that's all a la carte!" he says. That's why I asked if you could do it that way....Super annoyed and acting like I am torturing him. Continued making faces and I finally had to ask him to stop. This is not how we want to spend our lunch hour. You lost three customers today. There are too many other choices nearby.
