There are many sushi restaurants in Gilbert. Each tries to differentiate by trying to be more original. As I traveled to Japan many times, the sushi bars in Japan are friendly from the time you walk in. At Yanagi Sushi you seat where you are told otherwise the waitress won't be happy. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, she insisted we sat next to another table that were having a personal conversation. They weren't amused either. So we insisted to be sat elsewhere. The food menu is nothing extraordinary. The sushi is average.
