This place is crazy and I wouldn't trust a thing they say! My cat simply broke a nail, she was acting just fine, but we called this Banfield for good measure. They acted as if this was a dire emergency and begged us to bring her right in. After an examination the Doctor tried to push $240 xrays on us even though she was obviously moving fine and had a normal temperament. He went on to say it is best we seclude her, locking her in a closet or bathroom for a couple days to limit her movement (ARE YOU KIDDING!) When this doctor asked my wife if the cats bite her she said yes, playful biting, but they never break the skin. The doctor went on to suggest we go immediately to a doctor to get rabis shots!!!(WHAT?!) I reluctantly paid the $80 bill for a darn broken nail wondering what unsuspecting suckers would have fallen for the Xrays! Well, I took my cat home. She was fine and wouldn't you know, the nail grew back.
