I purchased a table easel from Hobby Lobby. The price was $17.99. I thought that was a little high priced, but bought it anyway. I brought it home and decided it didn't work in the place I wanted it to. When I returned it with my receipt a week later, the cashier said, "I don't think you paid that much for it." I showed her the receipt and she said, "I don't think so!" I told her that I thought it was a little high-priced when I bought it, but assured her that was the price. She said again, "I don't think so." I was feeling very uncomfortable when she sent an assistant to check on the price...the assistant returned saying, "*17.99". No apology. I didn't know whether to think I was an idiot for paying too much...or I was changing price tags.
