I am currently extremely disappointed in this service, or should I say lack of customer service. I moved into a new house and was told my directv bill would be less than $50 to match the offer Cox was giving me. I preferred not to switch companies and I've been with directv since 2010. If they could match the Cox price, I preferred to stick with them. The price was good for ONE month. Then it almost doubled. They took a little off but would not get it back down to my price point if $50. I was on the phone twice for over an hour and a half each. I finally requested to cancel services. Guess how much that would cost me? Over $400! I feel like I was led to believe I could get a certain price in order to get me to agree to a contract and then this price disappeared and I was left paying more than I budgeted for. I wasted hours of my time to get nowhere. I no longer recommend directv and don't want their services but cancelling is too expensive.
