| - Ross Park Mall....where the rich intermingle with the common folk.
I totally mean that in the nicest way possible! \\
I find myself meandering through Nordstrom for my fix of Betsey Johnson jewelry, sale of course. I also can't help looking through shoe department gazing at the pretty Jimmy Choos. But let's get real, this girl shops at Gabriel Brothers and roots through things with missing buttons and holes in it. I don't buy anything above $25 unless it really speaks to my clothing soul.
I don't ever cross over the threshold of Burberry, Louis Vuitton or even Juicy Couture. I don't think a single sock would be under $25 there, so I'm really out of luck!
Regardless of the very high end, I still feel like this mall hits all the right spots for me. I'm able to hit up H & M, Forever 21 (or 31 for someone like me), Nine West and occasionally Express (for the box sale of course) and Banana Republic (don't mind me, I'm heading towards the back...sale). Obviously you get the point, I go for the sales.
There's two splurge's I make when I go to Ross. One is at the Aveda store. I love Aveda hair products, because curly haired girls know, you gotta get the good stuff! I love going into the store because there's so many great products and the staff is always VERY friendly when you're trying to lookvfor the right product.
The other splurge is at Teavana. I like to embrace the 50% or so English heritage in me and drink tea. All.the.time. Again, the employee's here are so nice and eager to talk tea. I sound like such a tea dork, but it's like your own personal tea concierge! I know what good customer service is, and I totally appreciate it when I receive it. So anyway, Teavana, so many different flavors, so little time. I like tha they help you pick out the right tea. I know it's way expensive, but I feel like the small size for about $20 lasts a while. It's worth the splurge, i SWEAR!
I was VERY excited to see the new addition of Crate and Barrell. I compare it to Ikea, but better quality. You gett the standard home essentials and the quirky fun decorative stuff at a good price. Ikea stuff falls apart after a couple months. Sometimes when you're using it, which is always nice....
The crown jewel of Ross Park Mall though...is the Orange Julius. Seriously, who can go wrong with that dreamy orangey mixture after a very hard day of shopping!?
