  • I have been reading reviews and thought I'd post my own. I became a patient at this clinic about 5 years ago and before I start mumbling about modern decor and rude or friendly smiles and candies at the front desk let's cut to chase: The MEDICAL TEAM IS OUTSTANDING. My family practitioner, Dr. Charles King is truly a genuinely sincere, knowledgeable and excellent doctor. I never feel rushed. I do feel extremely confident that all records are recorded and organized and there is a great deal of due diligence and care that the team puts into every appointment, I have to say in general, where on earth do you get to confidentially e-mail your doctor and have a one-on-one response back (always within the same day from my experience!!!??) This is health care with a gold bar raised in my eyes, and this service in particular has me throwing medical accolade-confetti all over the place. As for reviews of reception staff being rude, well, I treat people as I would like to be treated. I come in on time or a little early, I at most in 5 years, have waited 15 minutes for my apt (this only happened one time) and yes, while it may be a little confusing for some new-comers as to why the ladies at the desk are not handling your cards personally (they are booking apt and taking calls) the automated system to log in is smack dab in front of you and once when I had trouble the lady was polite and helpfully answered my issues logging in. I needed counselling outside of my doctors care, and my doctor happily reffered me to services on-site!! I am happy to be starting within a month of inquiring about them! There's an on-site pharmacy, easy to get to location right in Liberty Village, and there is green P parking literally across the road. For Toronto, I don't know how much more convenient medical care and access you can get. For those interested, they also offer physiotherapy, and there is baby care or something of the sort (sorry not a parent but i know they accommodate people with children there) Also, it is barrier-free design and yes, the design is stunningly modern, clean bright and refreshing. Ok, there, had to chime in after reading such negative reviews! I am a proud fan of the Village Family Health Team and only wish that in the future, they perhaps expand and include more holistic modalities in combination with their traditional practice, as I am forced to go to King Liberty Health Team around the block for naturopathic advice. It would be beneficial to the business to keep customers in one spot, just a suggestion, but space might be an issue unless they acquire the whole building! lol Overall, LOVE the Village Health team and all the staff, Thank you for providing us with care and appointments on time and on schedule in such a busy hectic city !! Kudos To your health~ !! -Magdalena
