| - I was thinking of visiting the new version of the Fairmont for days when I randomly ended up going there with friends on a Thursday evening. I had heard about their new bar Nacarat and wanted to give it a try. Upon entering the hotel, we had a moment of hesitation and thought that it was located in the Roselys, but the hostess was kind enough to tell us where it was.
From the entrance, you can see the refinement in the decor, sober but sophisticated, modern but classy. We were seated near the windows. It was not crowded (mostly people in suits). The music was neither too low nor too high (very good selection by the way). We were greeted with a small non-alcoholic drink. Having already eaten, we ordered cocktails, I went with the waiter's suggestion and had the 57 Colada, made with Fernet Branca, Rum, Coconut Cream and Pineapple ($16): In other words, a revamped pina colada... I enjoyed the drink, the service and I had a great time. I highly recommend this place!
