  • We've stayed at a number of hotels in Montreal, and the Omni has always been one of our old standbys. The place has definitely been renovated since our last stay there a few years ago, so it has a much newer feel to it than before. The rooms are spacious and they do a great job with providing small amenities such as the complimentary infused water that is always available in the lobby. Another plus is the inexpensive parking. There aren't many places in Montreal where you can park your car underground for $8.00 CDN for an entire weekend. We did have a few minor concerns, however. They charge for WiFi for those who don't sign up for their loyalty program. The pool now closes in October (it used to be open all year). Finally, when I called the day before our arrival, I was led to believe that early check-in would not be a problem when in fact, it turned out that they could not accommodate that request. Aside from those minor gripes, it is a great place to stay if you are looking for a nice hotel in the heart of downtown.
