  • I checked Yelp for alignment shops with good ratings close to my job and found Jack's. Their website says alignments take up to an hour so I was hoping to get a ride back and forth to work, only 1/2 mile away right on Thomas - I'm not a workaholic, just a lot on my plate - but their receptionist said sorry, they couldn't with only two techs on duty. So I went in at 9 am expecting to twiddle my thumbs for 45-60 minutes. Twenty minutes later she said "You're all done". I had a quick chat with the tech for his opinion on a steering part and at 9:25 I pulled back into work. My fear of losing an hour was unrealized. While I was there, I saw the manager (owner?) give two people the results of their alignment checks (both requiring other repairs before an actual alignment could be done) and tell them there was no charge. They are fast, no-nonsense and check alignments for free. A good resource to have.
