It's too bad i can't give negative stars. We booked this hotel for Farm Aid 2017 as last minute accommodations. I used booking.com which charged us $100 per room per night for a total of $400. I thought this was a reasonable price as it was close to the venue and we were really only looking for a place to stay...it didn't have to be fancy, just clean. The parking lot was empty and overgrown. There was a large sign in the front saying $59.00. The front desk area was dirty, and when i checked in i asked about the $59/night rate. Albert who was working at the desk (and who ended up being the ONLY pleasant experience we had here) said that because we used Booking.com he couldn't give is that rate. So right away i was irritated because i was already being overcharged $160 in total just for booking online (that's another review in and of itself). Albert said there was nothing he could do, but was very professional about it. We took our bags and entered the absolute filthiest rooms we had ever seen. What caught my attention first were the stains and cigarette burns on the bedding. We next saw what appeared to be dried blood drops on the floor. There were tumbleweeds of pubic hair with fingernail clippings all over the floor. When I pulled the nightstand away from the wall there were bugs both alive and dead. The bathroom had a brown material splattered all over the wall beside the toilet and urine running down the front of the bowl. After taking several pictures (attached), my husband went to the front desk to say that we wanted our money back as we would not stay in those rooms. I wouldn't let my dogs sleep in those rooms. Again Albert was accommodating and said that he would have to call his superiors because he couldn't issue a refund. As my husband waited in the front office, I called the customer service number. When I explained our situation to the woman on the line I expected her to be apologetic. Boy was i wrong. She was snippy and rude. I told her that because I had used my check card and not a credit card to pay for these rooms I needed the money refunded immediately so i could pay for another hotel. She said "there's nothing I can do for you". I asked her if she would stay in a hotel room with human blood and excrement splattered everywhere and she completely ignored me. She was taking over me, and i ended the call by saying that i was calling the department of health, to which she said nothing.
As it turns out, after about an hour Albert was able to make the refund happen and we left for another hotel. We actually warned another couple who was pulling in the parking lot to beware. Unless you have no problem with other people's pubic hairs blowing around the room as you sleep, i would strongly recommend that you don't stay here. It's beyond deplorable. You have to zoom in on my pictures to really appreciate the disgusting detail.
