  • I'm very interested in Celtic culture, so this place piqued my interest. How authentic is it, you may ask? I couldn't tell you because I've never been to Cornwall, but the pasties are good! If you've never had a pasty before, think empanadas, but with gravy, potatoes, lamb and peas and carrots inside. They also have non-traditional pasties as well, with stuffings to make them resemble calzones and other foods. I also really like the feel of the place, and how they've re-purposed several random items for decorations. I'd really like to go back for drinks, as I feel like this would be a very laid-back, chill drinking atmosphere. And hipster heaven. ...sometimes I wonder if I'm secretly a hipster, but then I think, what hipsters spend time wondering what kind of societal label they fit into? I think not. =) Anywho - come here and try a pasty!
