  • Yollipop is the new fro-yo place in the neighborhood. It's like most fro-yo places you see popping up these days: self-serve, colorful, giant cups, and a mixed array of toppings. What's different? The staff here was uber-friendly...and they aren't stingy with the tasting cups either. Me: "Can I have one more taster cup please?" Staff: Guy "Here take a bunch!" Me: "No, one is fine; there's just one more..." Staff Guy: "Here, here's some more!" Me: "No, really one is fine, but thank you!" I hate waste, so I insisted; but part of me was glad to see their commitment to generosity. The flavors of the yogurt were really good too. He said he's the only yogurt shop around that makes his own flavors/yogurt. He's doing a good job too, because that Double Chocolate was the best chocolate fro-yo I've ever had. A couple of things I didn't like: a few of the flavors of yogurt didn't seem as frozen/cold as they should be; and some of the toppings are in these self-serve dispensers that make it impossible to add just a little -- they come out in an avalanche. I love toppings...but not that much. Overall, Yollipop is a good fro-yo spot though. I'd go back.
