  • My fiancee and I took a ride on the High Roller and it was incredible!! I honestly cannot recommend this experience enough. We took our ride around 5pm on a weekday. It was not busy and we were the only 2 people in our pod. I was scared at first, but the observation wheel moved very smoothly and at a steady pace so it was difficult to tell we were actually moving. I do not recommend looking straight down - that made me motion sick. It was amazing to see Vegas and the surrounding desert and mountains in the daylight. We took some incredible photos and it was a very relaxing experience - a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The High Roller runs until 1-2am so riders can view the lights of the strip as well. The is also an all-you-can-drink offer in the evening; certain pods have small bars in the them. There are always deals for the High Roller on websites like Get My Perks and Living Social so be sure to check online prior to purchasing tickets. An amazing experience for first time visitors and returning vacationers. I definitely want to ride the High Roller at night on my next visit to Vegas.
