I feel so strongly about the bad level of service I received from Fortified that I'm dedicating an entire afternoon to online reviews just to prevent someone else from having the same troubles. I'll do a TLDR version for those who don't care to sort through the whole saga:
Bought a Groupon to have Scorpions killed at my house. Ended up being a bait and switch ("well, this only covers THIS.. but if you sign up for THIS and THIS we'll be able to meet all your needs"). So I signed up for a 6 service package. Now that my contract is nearing the end, they're claiming some visits didn't count towards the required number for satisfaction of our agreement. They charge whatever they want to my credit card and offer explanations like "bigger area sprayed this time, needed more spray" and other ridiculous excuses for extra charges. Customer service is rude rude rude. The spray technician is a nice guy. He works for a shady company. He told us when we signed up that if we were displeased we could be released any time from the contract and now that we're super unhappy, the company says he didn't have authorization to tell us that. Just a bad experience overall. I had to cancel my credit card and block their number to stop the charges and phone calls.
