| - If I could give negative stars, I would. This hotel became a nightmare when dropping off my brother for college. We're from California, we booked everything on Expedia. On Expedia, it suggested that we ask the hotel if they'd be able to accommodate any circumstances that you may have. Ours was that one of our family members was going to meet us here from Denver, but his flight was getting here at 9pm and ours at around 1am. We messaged the hotel stating this problem, and also our flight schedules. They assured us that our family member could just go to the hotel and check in, and also that they'd have a bus for us. When we arrived at 1:29am to Pittsburgh and turned on my phone from airplane mode, I had texts from my family member stating that an older gentlemen at the lobby didn't let him check in, was rude to him and others, and made him wait in the lobby for 6 hours. When we arrived, I called for the shuttle, and the same older gentlemen answered the phone and told us that shuttles run from until 1am and that we'd have to pay for a cab if we wanted to get here.
I don't know what scam is going on here, but my family member also said that while he was waiting for such amount of time, about 10-15 people coming from all over the nation tried to check in, and the gentlemen would not allow until 2pm of the day off. The people, just like us, who are not from here, were forced to pay a days rate for the same night because we didn't have any other option . Avoid booking here guys! It's affordable , but there's an obvious reason why. This place is hell on earth.
