  • Compared to most boba tea places, Kung Fu has more refined tea, customizable sugar levels and ice amounts, and toppings galore. Their tea tastes fresh, sweetness can be 0 to 120% of some arbitrary amount of sugar, and drinks can be room temperature, no ice, less ice, or regular. They offer a ton of toppings like boba, nata de coco, red beans, and pudding. Service was excellent. If you're unsure about sugar levels, they'll suggest 50%. Resist! Go for 30% or less. It'll taste better. I ordered Taro Milk Green Tea with boba and while the boba was too chewy and sticking to my teeth, the taro/green tea flavor was deliciously strong and refined. I asked for 30% sugar but realized I would have been even happier with zero since I typically prefer plain tea. Their no ice option was awesome since I don't like anything interfering with boba retrieval. This time though, I left some at the bottom. =/ **If you go with their suggestion of 50% sugar and end up not liking it, they'll make you another with a different preference.
