  • A decent stop and an amazing collection of pinball machines. Money collected that goes to charity could be spent to add a bit more polish and higher end arcade feel to the place but I suppose that isn't my call. While I have visited this place for what seems to be 10-20 years, the owner this time seemed annoyed and a bit put off with me when I asked him a simple question and gave him a complement about the excellent condition of an older machine. Maybe he was having a bad day. All I know is I was being very respectful and had nothing but positive intentions. In the past he was a true ambassador of his collection and would offer a story and a smile, but it seems his passion for the machines has turned into a hassled thankless job of day-to-day maintenance, managing, and tolerating the "annoying" customers who come into the place. It seems his passion has turned into a never ending battle to keep the machines running rather than enjoying what he has built. For those that seem frustrated that some machines are not working, understand that most are 30-70 years old and very complex. Most machine components aren't built to last 5-10 years. One failed component takes down a machine. Understand broken machines happen people. It would be cool if he had the ability to simply pull and take broken machines off the main floor back to his work area and replace them with other working machines that would otherwise not be in circulation. The thing about this place is, it is a two way street. Customers come to enjoy and pay money to experience this collection and for the most part, I believe most come with good intentions and respect for his business. Understand that we make an effort to come to experience this and that we support what you are doing. While some people bring bad behavior (always someone in the bunch to screw things up for the rest of us), a simple smile and kinder customer service to those that do support and care about the business goes a long way.
