  • Was in Cleveland over the weekend for the NCAA Wrestling Tournament and stopped here to meet some friends after the evening session. We were lined up at the door to get in so I thought this might be a pretty good place. Took about fifteen minutes to get in and it took twenty minutes to get a drink at the bar. The positive is they have a very large selection of beers on tap and by the bottle as well as an extensive collection of liquors and mixers. I thought the prices are on the high side though that is common place for a lot of downtown locations that count on the sporting and special events to meet their margins. I realize they were busy, but the waits weren't worth it and I really wonder why I came to the Wonder Bar. The friends I were meeting were from Iowa so I won't be meeting them here again anytime soon. This place might be a lot nicer if they weren't as busy and you were a regular that could grab the attention of the bartenders.
