  • I don't usually go to this place unless I am with a client - who wants to pay 20 bucks for a pad thai - right? But it was our couple friends anniversary and they love Thai so we decided to go. Didn't have to wait for a table since we reached there at 9. Ordered appetizers (rice paper wraps) and they were okay. For the main course, we ordered a few different curries and the sweet n sour. The server seemed pretty competent and well versed with the menu since we have a few dietary restrictions and she was able to advise appropriately. What happened afterwards was just unreal! My wife's dish came and she dove right in only to find a few mins later that it had onions in it. She is allergic and we had very specifically requested while placing the order and confirmed it was written down properly. The server took the dish and brought another one back in a few mins. My wife started again and while I was about to take a bite from her dish realized that this dish had onion too! By this time my wife's allergies had taken over. Her head was exploding and she was not doing well. I asked to see the manager who came by and asked what the issue was. After explaining how the order was served wrong twice he goes: "what would you like me to do about it?" Seriously! You are in the service industry and you ask me that question? I was about to lose it if it were for my friends - whose order also had issues btw. We asked for the check - and guess what? The dish they had made wrong for us was charged for 4 times! Yes - 4 times! So it was their mistake we were gonna pay for. My wife took over and asked the check to be fixed / and they charged us for two dishes. Well whatever! The story doesn't end - they actually charged us twice the total amount when they ran the card. And that time - our whole party gave up on this place, the owner and everything! We were just ready to go home. Seriously people - this place is going to the dumps. Am never taking a client here - what an embarrassment that could be! Save your self some money and trauma. Go to Thai Taste!
