| - Nice hotel with even nicer rates. You can walk to Union Station, the CN Tower and most importantly to a visiting American like me: several outposts of the mysterious, omnipresent Tim Hortons.
Minus several stars, however, for the four nights I spent in a twin bed with all the cushioning power of a concrete-lined bag of teeth, ball bearings and fingernails.
Plus several stars, however, for the incredibly wonderful bellman who helped me get 200 pounds of magazines to the convention center in record time by stacking them on a luggage cart and rolling the entire mess a half mile down the street, under the train tracks, up a hill and into the building. That is some hardcore customer service, and it was greatly appreciated.
Overall, a really convenient, well-priced hotel for any traveler more focused on sight-seeing/budget/location than on luxury accommodations.
