As this was my first time staying at Treasure Island - after staying at many other properties on the strip - I was excited to give this place a try. Unfortunately, I ended up quite disappointed.
Upon check-in, we were told that there were no non-smoking rooms available, even though one had been requested upon our reservation over a month beforehand and we were staying for four nights. We were told we could check the next day to see if any had come available, but would have to deal with the inconvenience of changing rooms mid-trip. The room itself was nice, and the bed was very comfortable, but the smell of smoke had permeated everything.
Also, we had booked using the TV special promotion which included Buy 1 Get 1 50% off buffet, with no mention of any restrictions as to what meal, and when we arrived we were given Buy 1 Get 1 Free for the dinner buffet and told we could not use it for the breakfast buffet instead, which we preferred as we had made plans for our dinner meals already so basically ended up losing the value that we had planned on.
