| - Timmy did an excellent job of creating exactly what I requested. However the gel chipped within hours and the shop could use some updates and adding of amenities. (Read Details below)
Wait Time: I must have been fortunate to show up during a time and day that was slow because after I was greeted a tech was able to start immediately.
Pricing: I was appropriately providing all pricing before my service began. I asked how much for gel and the price was a fairly common $45.00. I was explained that there was also an additional $5 for pink/white gel- which is always extra at salons.
Technician: I showed the Tech, Timmy, an image of how I used to get my nails done- Gel, Pink/White, Thick Duck Toe, Darkest Pink and a Medium Length and he did a great job of reproducing exactly what I wanted. He had me approve the length and look as he was working which is well appreciated.
Environment: The shop was average in cleanliness. Plenty of clean towels. Sanitation is good, as clean/dirty towels and brushes are all clearly marked. Parking is convenient. The location is close to the highway for quick commute. Plenty of well-lit parking.
Amenity 1: They offer free WiFi.
Amenity 2: They have a TV, which was set on a music video channel so it was nice not to have to listen to commercials or an uninteresting movie.
3 Stars because the shop really needs some updates and to feature amenities.
Negative: The one TV they have is impossible to see unless your getting a pedicure. If your getting your fingernails done, you must twist your neck to view it backwards from the mirrors on the adjacent wall.
Negative: was not offered to change the channel. (The two other patrons were clearly not interested in the TV & instead on their phones.)
Negative: I was not offered anything to drink and they did not appear to have any drink and/or snack options for customers.
Negative: Better ventilation and/or circulation of air area would have been pleasant.
Negative: The Gel Top Coat chipped after a few hours. I will be returning in the morning to get it repaired.
Overall, I do recommend this saloon because I got the exact look I wanted for a good decent price, minus having to return for immediate repair. (I'll give them that one as a rare occurrence.)
Additional Information: I used to go to this nail salon when it was called Allstyle Nails, from 2012-2015. However the owner Luna left so I decided to take a break from nail salons.
One tech working did recognize me from years ago and was friendly when passing. However everyone else in the salon ignored me, which is fine by me.
