| - We've nicknamed this place Walt Disney World. Just like the amusement park, at Whole Foods you'll be amazed by the sites (the food they have here is just beautiful) and enjoy the rides (they have awesome free samples and some foods that you'll never see anywhere else). On the downside, when you actually go to eat at the park, you'll pay $15 for their Mickey Mouse Burger plus $8 for the Shrek Fries; similarly, at the grocer, your credit card may reach its max just for supper.
All analogies aside, we love and hate Whole Foods. All the food here looks amazing and tastes even better. They have an astounding variety of fresh raw veggies, meats, and seafood. We could spend an afternoon just looking at everything. However, with the staples being so expensive with little variety, you really have to go to two stores to make a week worth of meals. Due to this, we think most people come here for the prepared meals instead. Therefore, we think of Whole Foods as more of a take-out restaurant for people that want to binge watch Big Bang in their comfy clothes at home after work.
This branch itself is very nice and staffed by extremely friendly employees. If you like Whole Foods, you'll love the one on Mayo Blvd.
