  • We had come to the Charlotte area to pick up our grandkids for spring break. My oldest picked this place for us to meet and have some family time before we parted ways with her children. Online we were able to get tickets at a discount, so this is what we had done. Online it appears much bigger than it is in real life! The aquarium is in a mall. It was a bit crowded as we were there at opening time, but they were able to move the line fairly quickly. I must say I was a bit shocked when I asked how long it typically takes to go through the aquarium and she told me 20-30 minutes. For the ticket price of $15 (discounted) that seemed a tad short. There are some cool displays of fish and sea creatures. We did have an enjoyable visit, but it indeed did not take very long. I can't say that I would return, but maybe because I've been to some amazing aquariums in the past.
