Alright I think I finally realized why I didn't like Sichuan gourmet the first time. You just have to go to the right one! DON'T go to the one in Oakland. This one is sooooo much better. It's much cleaner and the service is better as well. The menu seems to be more comprehensive to me too and is divided into Chinese and American styles. Some of the food we had were even authentic enough to remind me of dishes I had in China. Also, I'm in absolute love with their fried pork intestines now and before today I had always avoided eating visceral stuff. This is such a game changer.
