  • Oh the 99 cents only store. First off, things may be labeled .99 but the register rounds it up to an even dollar. Not really a big deal, even for a frugal shopper like me. The biggest deterrent to coming here would probably be the admittedly sketchy neighborhood but there was a security guard at the door who also wandered out to the parking lot so that's a good thing. The store was quite clean and well stocked and even had a few refrigerated fruit items which caught me by surprise. The reason I visited in the first place is because I heard that they carry a very difficult to find brand of potato chips called Poore Brothers out of Phoenix. Now that I've visited though, I can definitely see myself coming back! (As long as it's not night!)
