I took my mother here for a visit and it was very nice. I do find their admission fee a bit high for the size of the attraction (it's very small). I paid $19 (which included a 20 minute show) and my mother (83 years old) got one whole dollar off (it should be more for seniors, in my opinion). Not a horrible price, but I do feel they could attract more visitors if they lowered their prices. We also had to pay $5.00 for parking. There is plenty of street parking, but as my mother has some issues with walking long distances, we preferred to park closer.
The exhibits are nice and the employees are very friendly. We chatted with a couple of them on our visit and they are very knowledgeable about the facility and the birds. They really seem to care about the birds, which was nice to see.
We were there for about 2 hours, including the show. Without the show, we would have probably spent about an hour to an hour and a half.
It's a nice place to visit and they are working on updating the Wetlands area (currently it shuts down at 2:00 p.m.). Again, my only real complaint is the price, but if you can get past that and don't expect hours of entertainment, it's definitely worth a visit.
