I think I just witnessed straight discrimination. I have been to this shop a few times. Usually the service is decent. The last time I was in I got a pedicure. Granted it had been a while since I got one but considering I work two jobs I think I have somewhat of an excuse. The guy repeatedly made comments about my feet. So today comes I'm getting a pedicure. There were four techs doing pedicures and one doing nails. I observed two black women walk in 3 of the 4 techs doing pedicures looked up. No one even spoke to them. One of the ladies doing pedicures walked to the back to get someone. A guy casually walks to the front when the phone rings he still doesn't acknowledge the ladies. So they leave. They had been in the shop at least 5 minutes and no acknowledgement. He walks back to the back and says something in their language and he laughs and looks back up to the front. So I know he must've said something about the ladies. About two minutes later a Caucasian woman walks in the same man hurries from the back and gives a big hello. Am I wrong to think those women were discriminated? against? I actually liked this shop too. After seeing this I won't be back.
