I came in spur of the moment because I had gotten a call that my start time a work was pushed back, I thought great I can run in for some new make up! I was browsing and noticed the beauty bar was empty so I asked if the lady had a moment to clean up my eyebrows. She seemed irritated and told me usually they required appointments but she would check, I told her it was no big deal I could always come back. When she brought the book out she said she could squeeze me in at 4 since she was completely booked till then, I agreed and went about my way looking for make up and even some hair products. I kept my eye on the bar since it was oddly slow inside the store, I proceeded to shop for another 40 minutes and in the whole time not one person came in for a wax. Now this isn't what makes me upset, what upsets me is I caught the sales associate staring at me several times as I tested colors etc, not once did she offer to do them. She could have finished my eyebrows two or three times in the time I spent looking for stuff and that no one showed up. I was tempted to ask again before I left but decided I'd just check out. As I drove home I became even more irritated over the incident and decided not to go in for the appointment. Instead I went to a spa near work who finished them in under 10 minutes. I'm not sure why someone would turn away a person who is paying for a service and tipping you as well. I'm not sure I'll try and make another appointment with the beauty bar.
