Raw oysters: Out of the east coast ones, Irish point and permaquid are bigger and have a more metallic taste. Permaquid also has a strong smell. They are also more salty. The rest of the east coast oysters are less salty and have more of an earthy flavor. I really liked the one called James river. The oysters from the west coast are smaller in size and sweeter. We tried Hama Hama. It was pretty good.
Cooked oysters: we tried the chargrilled oyster. You get 6 of them on a plate with bread and lemon. It was quite delicious.
Appetizer: we tried an appetizer called, as far as I can recall, halushka. It wasn't listed on the menu but suggested by them. It was a pasta like dish made out of egg dumplings, Brussels sprouts and pork. It wasn't the best thing I've ever had but it was filling and ok.
Wine: we tried a Portuguese white wine suggested by our server and it was pretty smooth.
Service: this place was pretty crowded for a Tuesday evening. Service wasn't slow. We were in fact given sufficient attention and checked upon regularly and asked about the food. Service was good. Ambience was nice. Music was upbeat and they also have live music. However space is less and we felt a little cramped. Good experience overall
