| - For what they are trying to be, this place works. Don't show up here expecting someone to wait on you. I wouldn't have even realized they had food unless I saw some pictures and references on Yelp. Its more like a craft beer place. You have to go to the bar, and order. I had to ask, "Do you serve food?" At which point they pulled out a menu from under the counter.
They have an excellent selection of cheeses. The cheese plate comes with nuts, olives, grapes, grape jam, and crackers. That was awesome and the cheese was excellent. They have some good wines by the glass, and they have store full of unique wines if you want to just buy a bottle. Perhaps the complete surprise to me, was the great selection of on draft craft beer. Noda, Triple C, Sycamore, Wicked Weed, OMB, etc. They also have a huge selection of bottled craft beers.
Lastly, we ordered a flat bread pizza, their "most popular one" according to the menu, and it was fantastic.
Once you get your drink from the bar, you find a seat, and they bring the food out to you. That's the most attention you are going to get. But the atmosphere is relaxed, clean, with great wine, craft beer, and solid cheese/flat breads. So, if you want a casual place to hang out for a drink in Arboretum area, I don't think you are going to beat this place. Just don't go here expecting to be waited on, or you'll be disappointed.
