  • In my opinion---The best high quality staff at Life Care in Las Vegas brings up the tail draggers--most of whom simply need more on going training. First, took my cousin Bubba there--we noted some of the woes--The food here is usually not too good--much of the chow is almost inedible, and Life Care Las Vegas has no provision for a good, healthy, real protein, low carb diabetic diet, either..Life Care knew for a week Cousin Bubba needed a low fat, high protein diet --and instead they would hand him mushy squash, canned corn, greasy potatoes, deep fried fish, or deep fried greasy shrimp. Salads were served very rarely...This kitchen even messes up their meatloaf. Jimmy John's Sandwiches and Domino's Pizza are nearby-trust me--like Bubba, will be using their services a whole lot..-- Both could deliver good food to him at Life Care Vegas. Life Care nurses who were awesome---Theresa W., Rex, Jaron (known as Jay), Patricia (Trish), & IV Nurse Luisa and Felipa--they were awesome! Anna B. is very nice and caring. Mona Lisa and Madonna are solid--- CNA's who also did well include Mary,,, One CNA was 20 year Life Care veteran S.-needs a big, intense refresher course--she has a loud and somewhat unfriendly New Jersey accent--and is sometimes quite forgetful & overbearing...She would do better working in the Nevada state prison system...Another nurse with mood swings is the rather abrasive V, who was either friendly or rarely fussy.... The two PA's Bubba had worked with at Life Care mainly were Dr. Le and Dr. Hector--both were the excellent..Wound Care experts PA Tammy, Charles, and Mariel were excellent....Alma is a fine social worker, too...as is Angela in physical therapy....The housekeepers Lucy and Sunny were great! One more warning--The older nurses were usually pretty tired zombies near the end of their long 12 hour shifts..Not many working here are spring chickens--and by Day 3 or 4 they really needed time off...12 hours is far too long a shift for anyone pushing 50 or 60....
