  • Went to masthead brewing for their soft opening party Saturday. Everything was amazing! We had flights of all the beers which were all awesome. The IPA was my favorite because IPAs usually are. We also tried four of the cocktails - the white wedding, Manhattan, on draft old fashioned, and the tequila cocktail. The drinks were so impressive - they all had great flavor without being too sweet or too liquored up. I was surprised how much I liked the white wedding because gin drinks aren't usually my jam but it was one of my favorites. The food was delicious - arugula salad was light with just enough lemon dressing, stuffed tomatoes were really different and good, brussels were sooo good without being too oily. We had the prosciutto and pesto pizza and really liked them both. The red sauce on the prosciutto was delicious and the mushrooms were fancy ones not just your typical white mushroom. The pesto was so good and we loved the pine nuts on it. Service was so helpful answering questions and everything was reasonably priced. Designated spots to order at the bar made it easy to order and also makes the bar a more comfortable place to hang out. Can't way to go back!
