My sportage is the first car which I have decided to follow the manufacturer-recommended service schedule, and I have chosen to use a dealer to get all my regular maintenance. So far, I have used this dealer to do two of these maintenances. Here's my impression.
(1) Their online reservation and tracking system is great. I can regiser my car, select services, see how much it will cost, and reserve my appointment.
(2) At my appointment time, I just pull right into the bay, see Mike, their super awesome and friendly service boss, and he gets me squared away ASAP.
(3) I like to stay on site, so I go back into their showroom, have a doughnut, get some fresh coffee from their kouregish coffee machine, and sit at their work tables in the showroom. I always make sure to bring some work-related stuff to do or bring a book.
(4) About 40-50 minutes later Mike comes back in, gives me a quick run down. Since I bring my own filter and oil, my cost is usually about $10-$15 less, so they give me a break there. And they always zip my car through their carwash - no vacuuming the interior though :(
Great place, would recommend this dealer's service desk to anyone.
