Maximum Fitness is a perfect example of a club that offer 99% of what a someone who is serious about fitness could want.
The club has no airs about it - none of the Snottsdale attitude or "I'm better than you" spectacle that you might see at a Lifetime or other fancy club. No, this is a club for those who are serious about getting into and staying in shape and it does so exceeding well.
I have been going to Maximum for about 2.5 years now - I was first introduced to the place when my longtime trainer moved here. Many trainers work at Maximum, and there is no shortage of fitness and workout knowledge on the floor of the spacious facility.
This is not a fancy gym, but it does have a huge selection of old school free weights and machines so there is never a wait for a bench or dumbbells. The showers and lockers are only basic (although the men's locker did receive a minor facelift recently) ... but again, the very reasonable monthly fees here more than make up for the spartan lockers.
When my trainer relocated about a year ago, I decided to continue here solo at Maximum because it provides everything I could want to help me stay in the best shape of my life - while also avoiding the glitz and fakery that can be distracting at other fancier spots.
The owners and staff here are incredibly friendly, and you will likely see many serious athletes and competition models (guessing) working with the talented trainers here. By the way, most of the trainers here appear to be the seasoned pros - many with 20+ years experience, not the newbee kids outta college. I appreciate that kind of wisdom in a gym.
For anyone seeking a serious gym at a reasonable monthly price with no contracts - Maximum Fitness is hands down a winner.
