What arrogant jerks. My bill supposedly tripled in a month and I called to ask about it. I was put on hold until my phone battery nearly died. I was never called back. They did email me to tell me what my account number was, but who cares? Monopolies always stink. They will try and tell you they read the meters every month, but we all know they don't. When my water heater dies, I'm going electric and probably go solar ultimately. It took 3 tries to get their complaint form to accept my CAPTCHA number and they think I'm going to buy into them reading my meter monthly. I wonder how many of their staff are in this country illegally? English is probably their 2nd or 3rd language. Go electric and leave these monkeys alone.
