| - I wrote this review in December 2017, and it was recently flagged and deleted for language. Ironic, considering the language was precisely the reason for the review - the language in a rap song the young girls were playing in the salon while I was tanning. So, rather than allow the whole experience get swept under the rug, as it were, here is an edited review, with the filthy language of the rap song omitted.
I have been a consistent Bodyheat member since March 2008. I have never put a package on hold, or taken a break. Most of the locations are sufficient, although they all could use a thorough cleaning. My issue is with this particular location, on Eastern and the 215. I did email corporate after the incident -right away-and have yet to receive a response. So, I'll put Bodyheat Tanning on full blast here. First, a snippet of the email I sent:
"I just left the eastern/215 location where I did the fgt and finished with a dark spray. My husband Eric tanned as well. It's 8 pm, as we leave. There are two younger ladies working, and as I dressed after my spray, the rap song they were listening to went something like this: chanting "imma beat that (naughty word) up" and "come on make me squirt." The f-word prevailed as well.
The entire salon was filled with this delightful rap music, but was forgettable for the most part, if annoying. But really, these lyrics allowed in a tanning salon? We're not in a club setting for heavens sake.
I was mortified. Fine if this is their choice of music on their off time. I don't appreciate being subjected to it. These lyrics are profane. Not just objectionable, they are obscene. I shouldn't have to listen to full on vulgarities while IN A TANNING SALON.
I expect a reply. "
Now, in the original review, I posted the full lyrics to the awful song playing in this location of the tanning salon on full blast at 8:15 p.m. on a Friday night. That's what got the review deleted. So if you want to see the vulgar language for yourself, please google "Beat the P**** Up" by Love Rance.
Absolutely ridiculous. I am not sure if there are any legal avenues to pursue this but I'll be starting with the BBB. To each their own when it comes to musical tastes on your own time, however unless you are a nightclub, no professional business should be allowing this type of filth.
