This morning I was about to get into my car when I noticed someone attempted breaking into it leaving me with a completely shattered passenger side window. My mind didn't want to believe my eyes and since I'm from Chicago, for a split second my brain said "don't worry, it's just an icy window and that's why it looks that way" ,(the tiny fragments of broken glass have a very strong similarity to the crystallized icy snow/rain mixture I'd scrape off my windows every winter.)
I called Safelite and they quoted me $237.53 not including the tinting I had on the window. And it would take 60-90 minutes to complete the job, time I really don't have.
I decided to continue searching for a more reasonable price and came across United Auto Glass. I called and set up an appointment for 4:30. I ended up getting out of work early and asked if I could come in as soon as possible, fortunately they were waiting for a part on another car they had and told me to go ahead and come in. Within 45 minutes I had a new window WITH the tinting. The best part was the professional and friendly service along with saving me more than $70 compared to Safelite.
