The Groupon and Living Social deals have been VERY available for this studio, which results in large class sizes and new practitioners in classes they aren't ready for. But they are a great deal, no doubt, and the location and facility is also great.
Unfortunately for this studio, the owner of the place is less than pleasant and does not practice himself. He seems to be strictly business and is not knowledgeable at all when it comes to all the different styles & yoga disciplines available. His presence in the space is typically unwelcoming-- I find it very strange... he should probably just be an investor, or run a place with typical gym equipment or something. I've felt like a walking $ sign, as my interactions have been with him trying to up-sell me into buying another membership plan or promo. Lame.
There are good teachers here, but some of the teachers I've liked the most have been "let go" or have left--- which seals my opinion of the establishment being poorly run. It is unfortunate because the other teacher/s i like do not teach often enough to warrant the monthly fee.
Yoga is a beautiful practice and can bring so much lightness and joy into your life, and practicing in a space that facilitates this is so important. If you just want to break a sweat and try it out for yourself, I say go for it. But if you are looking for a longer term yoga sanctuary, this probably wont be it.
